It was almost our stop once I'd finished grumbling to myself.
I hadn't spoken while the rest f the passengers on the train chattered away. I dI'dn't know anything that would be worth chatting about.
Inigo's vision kept rearing its ugly self in mind; no matter how much I pushed it away. No matter how much I tried to ignore it, it broke through any barriers I put up.
Was it trying to tell me something? I wondered to myself.
I jumped out of my seat as my phone vibrated in my pocket. I frowned at my phone as I pulled it out of my pocket and settled back into my seat. I flipped it open. I dI'dn't recognise the number but risked opening it anyway.

Hello Miss Ash. I hope you enjoyed my little 'film' I created for your eyes only. A lot of hard work and energy went into it! But I'm sorry I had to dash off so suddenly. I have a few supplies to pick up. Bringing back the Lord of the Dead isn't an easy task. But I'm sure our paths shall entwine again. VERY soon.
~Inigo Erebus.

I looked at Lucifer; my eyes bulging. I didn't say anything as I held up my phone.
Lucifer's expression grew serious. "Delete it. It is our stop next. Leave your phone on the platform. We will do the same."
"What was that?" asked Leon sitting up, yawning and stretching.
"We'll have to leave behind our current mobile devices." Lucifer explained.
"Ok" Leon, Kane and Kyle replied in unison.
I'd noticed that Kane had pushed up the sleeves of his dark jacket; he was now picking at the edges of his leather wrist bands.
I wondered again why exactly he was wearing them. If we survived the oncoming battle I'd make sure I'd ask him.
We all jumped of the train at the next stop. We grabbed what little belongings we had with us and ditched our phones in a near by bin. It wasn't like we were going to need them. Anybody we needed to contact or wanted to contact us would have to wait; unless it was a real emergency. But I don't think there was going to be a bigger emergency bigger than what was waiting for us.
As if reading my thought Leon whispered: "Don't want Inigo tracking us, eh?"
"Precisely." Lucifer replied. "We wouldn't want Inigo intruding while we prepare, do we?"
"Nah wouldn't be the best thing." Leon chuckled.
I tuned out again. Instead of listening to the others I looked to the sky. The sky was stained orange and red. The colours seemed to bleed into one another.
I took a deep breath of the crisp evening air. As we walked to our hotel we just chatted casually. Happily, even, for once. It was a rare pleasure. But nobody wanted to think about what was lurking in our future.
We all laughed as Kyle cracked another of his 'trademark' cheesy jokes. Well, all of us except Kane.
We waited around in the lobby of hotel when we arrived around 8:00pm. They were still preparing our room.
The hotel didn't look that posh (which was surprising for Lucifer…well, he'd even showed up in trainers today). But it was nonetheless nice. Cosy, even.
The manager raised his eyebrows s he stared at us. Yet he handed Lucifer the keys to our rooms.
"What was with him? He just stared at. And not in a good way… D'you reckon he's working with Inigo?" I muttered to Lucifer as we climbed the stairs to the 3rd floor.
He simply chuckled at me. "I am a lone man, checking in with four teenagers. All of which don't have much resemblance to each other let alone me. So you cant all be my kids. So he may be worried that you're here to cause trouble."
"Trouble? Moi?" Kyle exclaimed; pressing his hand over his chest and throwing his head back dramatically. "Actually, yeah… he's probably right. You guys are here to 'cause trouble." He laughed running to catch up with us.
"What're you talking about? It's you he's gotta worry about!" I teased jabbing Kyle in the chest and poking my tongue out at him. I had to run ahead of everyone to avoid Kyle's grabbing hands.
"Awh come on! I just wanna flick you back, cutie pie."
I flinched at hearing Kyle's nickname for me in front of Lucifer. I didn't wait to see Lucifer's reaction. I bolted down the hallway of our floor looking for our room. But I hadn't run quickly enough to hear Lucifer say "What did you call her?"
I pushed the door to our room slowly.
Lucifer hadn't seemed to have noticed I'd snatched the key from his fingers. As I heard the others advancing I struggled to whip my jeans and jumper off and literally dived under the covers.
Before that Lost Soul had killed my parents I was too young to talk to boys. After  what had happened I'd spent all f my time with Leon or Lucifer. So I still wasn't sure how Lucifer would react with love affairs.
I hear Leon and Lucifer shuffle into the dark room, shutting the door behind them.
Zen made his way out of his bag and nuzzled under the sheets with me. I'd curled into a ball as Zen cuddled up in the curve of my stomach.
Suddenly a strong force had grabbed onto my bare ankle. Before I could react it had yanked me from my cocoon of bed sheets and onto the plush carpet. I yelped with surprise as I as brought into the open.
"Something you want to tell us, Skylah? About you and Kyle? Or shall we call you 'cutie pie'?" chuckled Leon, his hand hovering in the air, his fingers spread. As he relaxed his hand and lowered his arm the grip on my ankle loosened.
"What? No. Shut up Leon, you know nothings going on." I protested and glared at Leon. I started to squirm slightly uncomfortably under Lucifer's steady (yet somehow unnerving) gaze. "What're you quizzing me for anyway? I think we've got bigger things to worry about right now, right?" I argued as I stood up and dusted myself off.
Lucifer's eyes were still trained on me when I looked back at him. I didn't say anything as I crawled back into the bed. I rolled over and pulled the sheets over my head; encasing myself in another bed sheet cocoon.
The light went out after Leon and Lucifer had stopped shuffling about in the room. I didn't look but I heard them slip into their beds.
I listened silently as Lucifer's breathing softened and Leon's did the opposite. Even Zen curled up, buried his nose in his fluffy tail and closed his eyes.
There was no sound from the room next to us either.
Everybody had fallen asleep. Apart from me. I couldn't understand how they could sleep knowing Inigo was plotting our downfall by raising the Lord of the Dead. Lucifer's words of the Eternal Guardian still lingered in my thoughts as well.
I tossed and turned and tried to get comfy for over and hour. But it didn't work. My mind couldn't, wouldn't settle down. There were too many thoughts buzzing around my skull like disgruntled bees.
